Second Floor Common Room, Tuesday Evening

Sam had the television on, but wasn't really paying attention. She was sitting with a few old rags, a stick, and was trying to get what looked like chocolate pudding out of a motorcycle crankcase.

She also had pudding on her shoulder, but hadn't noticed that yet.

Anakin came in looking like he'd hadn't slept in a few days and spattered with pudding.

"It's raining pudding," he said, stating the obvious. "Why?"

"Is it bad that I don't even ask anymore?" She said, grumpily. "There's no rational explanation, and if I think about it too long, my head hurts."

"I don't even like pistachio," he griped, sitting down on a couch. He leaned forward, putting his hands on his knees. "Need a hand with that?"

"You both have stuff on you," said Rory, who had not been outside since getting back from her Scoobying workshop.

"It's raining pudding," Sam said. "Where?"

Rory pointed at her own shoulder. "That's...pudding?"

Anakin nodded at Sam. "What she said."

"It's raining pudding." Alanna anounced as she came in. She was carrying a bowl of pudding in one hand and Faithful in the other.

"Hey, Alanna. Faithful," Sam said, "and yeah, figured that out already. Weirdest damn thing."

"Okay, can someone tell me why the weather forecast is goopy and delicious?" Cally plopped down into a chair.

"Nope," Sam answered, "but do you have any idea how to get pudding out of a crankcase?"

Tempe entered the common room that wasn't her own, and waved at the people in there. She could do this. "Hi!"

Maybe a touch too cheerful. That, and they were probably looking at her funny, since her face, hair and clothing were dotted, and in some places, smudged, with chocolate pudding. She tried to look nonchalant.

"Hey, Tempe," Sam waved. "Pudding got you too, huh?"

"Hi," Rory replied in return, smiling at the girl she hadn't met.

"New person who I haven't met yet!" Alanna waved with her pudding spoon.

Okay, Seahorse aside, it's good to be back in the second floor common room. Jaye takes a seat, announces, "It feels like home. And also, pudding," she looks pretty pleased with this.

"Home doesn't rain pudding," Sam said, still grumpy.

"Pudding is good." Alanna may have been working away on her second bowl by then.

Anders showed up with a box of cupcakes, which was about as liberally drenched in pudding as he was. "Man, talk about making sure you get your sugar overdose today."

Sam eyed the box suspiciously. "Did you make them?"

Cally facepalmed. "You better clean off before you even think about tracking that into our carpet."

Peter walked down to the common room for the first time in what seemed like a long, long time. He waved to the crowd and took a seat.
