Gym - Sunday Afternoon - Cheerleading Practice

Marie arrived at the gym early, toting her pom-poms and ready for practice.

She was also carrying what appeared to be a length of PVC pipe, which was decorated with blue and gold glitter and streamers and resting on a blue pillow with gold fringe.

It was time for the Fandom High cheerleaders to have a spirit stick.



[ooc: please wait for ocd up, yay. also? I totally watched Bring It On the other day for research. please do not have your character drop the spirit stick without talking to me though. I have plans.]

Tyler just wanted to stretch his sore muscles with a lap or two and work on his free throws before the basketball game.

The scenery was strictly a bonus.

Tyler waved back. He wasn't quite in the mood for the Elvis voice. "Hey, Pippi. I almost didn't recognize you without the apron."

"It's not part of the Cheer uniform!" she called back. "You'll have to take it up with Buffy or Marie."

"I might do that," Tyler hollered, seeming to consider it seriously. "I think it would really inspire us on Saturday."

The French Maid Uniform wasn't really that different from the cheer uniform anyway.

River threw a pom pom at Tyler. It was by accident of course.

Tyler wasn't paying attention, so the pompom hit him. He picked it up off the floor and tossed it back at River.

Tyler gave the girl half a smile and took a step closer. "You guys look pretty good," he said. "Not sure you want to hit us with pompoms while we're playing."

"What are you playing?" River asked, "And why shouldn't we hit you with pompoms?"

"Basketball," Tyler said. "And you shouldn't hit us because it would be distracting. You'd ruin the game."

It was hard to tell how much he was kidding.
