Gym - Sunday Afternoon - Cheerleading Practice

Marie arrived at the gym early, toting her pom-poms and ready for practice.

She was also carrying what appeared to be a length of PVC pipe, which was decorated with blue and gold glitter and streamers and resting on a blue pillow with gold fringe.

It was time for the Fandom High cheerleaders to have a spirit stick.



[ooc: please wait for ocd up, yay. also? I totally watched Bring It On the other day for research. please do not have your character drop the spirit stick without talking to me though. I have plans.]

Lana came over, carefully carrying the spirit stick on its pillow and sat down next to Bel. "Hey, how's it going?"

"It's a spirit stick - or team spirit and luck and all that." She smiled at him. "I get to be in charge of it today since I still can't practice."

"You can look, but you can't pick it up. Largely because, if you drop it, I'd need to beat you to death with it and I kind of like you." She grinned at him.

"It's a luck thing - superstitions, you know?" Lana shrugged. "I'm not too into them myself, but a lot of cheerleaders live by them. And Marie is definitely one of them, so I respect that."

Bel looked the stick over, pondering if he could make a duplicate just to screw with Marie's head. "Huh," he said. "Cheerleaders are weird."
