Fourth Floor Common Room - Tuesday Morning

Dean ushered Alec in and pushed him in the direction of the couch.

"Trust me," he said as he headed for the coffee pot. "You'll feel a lot better once you get some caffiene." He wasn't smirking at Alec's drowsiness, not at all.

Well, maybe a little.

Dean himself was not only wide awake, bright eyed and bushy tailed -- not literally although he did actually check this morning just in case -- but was so after less sleep than he usually got and with no caffiene. He couldn't figure out if he was grateful about this or disgusted.

Willow had no morning classes, but she did have a lunch date to get to.

Passing by the common room on her way out and into town, she saw the boys. "Hey, guys!"

"Willow!" Dean handed the mug of coffee he'd poured to Alec with a muttered, "Drink this," then turned his attention on Willow with a slightly evil smile. "Just the witch we're looking for."

Alec peered at Willow, but settled for sipping coffee and waking up before being outwardly cranky.

"Everything go okay?" Willow guessed.

"Not really." He pointed at himself. "This is Alec's body." He pointed at Alec. "That's Alec."

Willow blinked a few times. "Are you two having fun with the whole looking like each other thing? Because that's kinda mean to the unsuspecting."

"No, he means we've switched--" A yawn interrupted him and he scowled slightly as it ended, looking up at Willow. "We've switched bodies."

Alec grumbled and sat down, yawning widely. "What do you do when you don't have caffiene?"

"Yawn a lot," Dean replied with a grin. "Generally the only times I can't go stumble somewhere nearby for coffee, I'm being woken up by something that is adrenaline inducing, which works almost as well. Be glad we're going the coffee route and not the demon attack route."

Another yawn, and then Alec glared at Dean - who was looking perky, dammit - while feeling like some sort of sleep zombie. "At least I'd be awake all at once."

"This way is better, trust me. And the coffee makes for longer lasting non-drowsy. With adrenaline you just crash and burn all the harder after the demon is gone."

"I am instant gratification guy," Alec said, drinking coffee in slightly large gulps than one might usually drink it. "But I see your point."

"Instant gratification -- is that what you call it?" Dean asked, leaning back against the counter and smirking at Alec.

"When I'd like things to happen now rather than later?" Alec eyed Dean, cupping the hot coffee mug in both hands. "I'm pretty sure that is what it's called."

When Jaye finally makes it out of her room, she gives a wave, and would be very glad she has no idea what was said yesterday if she had any idea things had been said. "Hey," she says.

"Hey Jaye," Dean greeted her.

"Hey," she says with a smile. "What's up?"

She's already dated two dopplegangers, and learned how to tell them apart from their lookalikes. However, this... isn't really applicable at the moment.

"Well..." He glanced over at Alec. "There's been a slight case of Fandom weirdness."

"Duh. It's Tuesday," she says. "No more pudding, right?"

Alec looks up and smiles - if there's one thing he remembers about yesterday, it's that he woke up in a bed not his own. Thankfully the rest of it is kind of muddy. "Hey."

And that's kind of weird, expecting one but getting the other. "Doing anything interesting today?" He asks, trying to figure out why it bothers him.

"Nah," she says. "Today's one of the lazy days. How about you?"

"Waking up in my double's body I think gives it a bit of an edge it wouldn't otherwise have," he says dryly. "Otherwise, not much."
