5th Floor Common Room - mid afternoon Tuesday.

England wasn't playing and he'd missed the France-Switzerland match earlier, but after reading about the excellence of the Brazilian team, Peter rather wanted to watch a match of theirs.

So he settled in on one of the couchs in the Common Room with the TV tuned to the Brazil-Croatia match.  He was trying to contain his excitement at watching football again.

After her conversation with Bel (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/652779.html?thread=40561899#t40561899) in the hallway, Pippi flounces past the common room and is drawn in by the siren call of football.

"Hi Peter! Did I miss anything good yet?"

Seras had the uncanny ability to detect a football match being watched with in a five mile radius.

It was a blessing and a curse.

"Who's playing?" she asked, poking her head into the room.

"Huh. Should be interesting then."

Seras curled up on the couch and decided that watching a football match went along with Dr. Reid's admonition to 'take it easy'.

Seras grimaced.

"I'm not sure really. I woke up this morning feeling...feeling very unwell," she said, "I don't know why though. I don't remember much of yesterday, infact. But, Dr. Reid told I'm not the only one. So, I'm not too worried."

Seras turned her head to the screen, just catching that last one.

"Oh...wow. They're quite brilliant."

She turned back to Peter.

"A soda would be lovely, thanks. What kind did you get?"

"I should say so, yes," said Seras, "And a coke would be perfect, thank you."

Seras opened her drink and took a gulp.

"I'm not sure. I want to say 'well' because I can't remember anything bad happening to me. But...I can't shake the feeling that something's off. It must just be not being able to remember much of yesterday. That's kind of scary, really."

"Excellent!" she said, I'll make us some popcorn!"

"A little strange." she said grabbing a Jiffy Pop pan (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002BQL8C/104-0243347-9115101?v=glance&n=3370831) from a cupboard and turning on the burner of the kitchenette.

"Nobody has a clear memory of yesterday it seems... But everybody is still around and unharmed so perhaps it's for the best. I remember having a chat with you about football though... Do you remember that?"

[identity profile] strongestgirl.livejournal.com 2006-06-13 07:52 pm (UTC)(link)
"Definitely!" she nodded. "Football is just the thing to bring people together so we can start our gang of Football Hollies!"

"Huzzah!" Pippi cheered.

[[ooc: Ooo! Challenge!

Pippi smirked at Peter and folded her arms.

"You know why they say the sun never sets on the English empire?"

"I was going to say that God doesn't trust you Brits in the dark." she smirks. "But yours is good too."
