The big game is on Saturday.

Buffy is awake.

You bet your ass there'll be a practice!

Buffy is looking a little battered, but definitely cheerful. The CD-player is blasting Kung-Fu Fighting at max volume, and the mats have been pulled out. "Okay! Today we'll be practicing in trios! So I hope you're all here! It's very important that we get *nsync in sync before the game, so work hard, guys!"

D'anna decided to stretch out a bit before the others joined her. As such, she was laying on a mat with one knee (http://www.netfit.co.uk/assets/156.jpg) pulled up and over her other as she did a lower back stretch.

Alec walked over to where she was stretching, grinning in greeting. "Hey, D'anna."

"Hiya, cheerboy." Still laying on the mat, D grinned back. "Ready to get all beat up by Marie?"

"I did sign up for it, I guess," he said, amused. "You been a cheerleader before?"

"True." D stretched the other way. "Nope. First time. You?"

"I have experience with synchronized physical efforts - and I don't mean that in an entirely dirty way," he said. "But never cheerleading, no."

"Eh, you're not bad with the dirty either." D smirked as she rolled onto her back and held up a hand. "Help a girl up?"

Alec smirked back and took her hand, gripping firmly. "It's a skill I try to cultivate."

"Oh really?" D grinned. Such cockiness should be rewarded. She tugged his hand toward her, hard, and was then smooshed by Alec. Not her best plan ever, but it worked... in a way... kinda.

Alec wasn't quite prepared, and having less than the remembered amount of reflexes he just barely managed to put a hand down to keep from squishing her too hard. He grinned down at D'anna, chuckling softly. "Hi there."

"Hi there." D'anna echoed him and grinned. "Help me with my stretches since you're down here?"

"My pleasure." He didn't move just yet, grin widening. "So what needs to be stretched, exactly?"

"Well, my back, for starters, and my hamstrings." she slipped her hands between them to press on his stomach, still grinning. "Which, despite how comfy this is, means you'll hafta move." She gave him a small push.

Alec snickered and sat back on his heels. "Sorry," he said, though he didn't particularly sound it, as he moved to help her stretch.

Marie bounced over to D and Alec.

"Hey, guys!"

"Hey, Marie!" D smiled. "Ready to try and not fall to an untimely death?"

"That's not a very positive attitude, D'Anna," Marie scolded mockingly. "I have to have the utmost faith that you two won't drop me."

The grin on her face clearly indicated that she did have that and was teasing.

"I can't make any promise about Alec here, he's prone to falling today, but I shall do my best to keep you aloft." D winked and then pushed a little at Alec so he'd get up first.

Alec snickered and got up, holding a hand out for D'anna again. "Prone to it only with assistance," he said, and grinned at Marie. "But I think I can be good in this instance."

D took the offered hand and stood up. "Thanks." She dusted off her hands on her shorts. "I'm ready if you guys are."

"I'm ready," Marie said.

"You guys want to try a basic thigh stand (http://www.mspineapple.com/images/photographs/visitors/eastland_thigh.jpg) first? Just to get a feel for the lifting and balance?"

Alec nodded. "Sounds fine to me. D'anna?"

"Works for me." D moved so that she was in the proper position.

Alec took up the appropriate opposite position and looked to Marie. "Ready."

Marie put on foot on Alec's leg and waited for him to move his hands to the proper holding position before leaning on his shoulder and lifting her other foot on to D'anna's leg. She had a hand on each shoulder to help her keep her balance.

"You guys got me?" she asked before letting go.
