"Go! Fight! Win!" The cheerleaders cheered enthusiastically as the audience shuffled into the gym. The players were already in place, and the gym was definitely ready for game time.

Unfortunately, since Fandom did not yet have any of the Dibblers, no hot pies, hot dogs or rats-onna-stick were being served.

"No, but it's not really practical when supply runs are a month round trip," Elizabeth said, shrugging.

"Oh God, I know," Elizabeth sighed. "That many scientists going through caffeine withdrawl? Not a pretty sight."

"McKay going through caffeine withdrawal alone would have been enough," she shuddered. "If it ever happens, maybe you should just mail him to...well, mail him out."

"Surprisingly, he wasn't doing so badly," Elizabeth admitted. "But I think that's because he'd stockpiled it for himself!"

"Right, that would do it," Sam smirked, then remembered she'd brought refreshments. "Raspberry lemonade? I even remembered cups."

"No," Sam replied, just as automatically. "There was a crepe incident in our workshop the other day."

"Yes please, Sam, thank you," Elizabeth said. She winced. "Was it bad?"

"Anders and I used up an entire fire extinguisher," Sam said, sheepishly.

"We both got a little toasted, but nothing serious," Sam shrugged. "Piper had salve and gauze, so we were okay."

"That's good." Elizabeth hesitated for a moment, her eyes dancing. "Is she letting you back in the class?"

"Oh, shush," Sam snickered, "and yes, but that might have been helped along by the fact that I couldn't cook because of my injuries from mummy fighting."

"Yeah," Sam said, blithely, "couple cracked ribs, mild concussion, and sprained wrist. Obviously I've had worse."
