2nd Floor Common Room [Tuesday Evening]

Bridge is sitting on the floor in front of RIC, and typing.... on the carpet? He pauses every so often to glance at a small LCD screen that's sitting off to one side.

He may look busy, but he's totally interruptable.

Room 317 was kind of lonely, so Z wandered down from the third floor to the second in search of people, only to find Bridge...typing on the carpet. "What the heck are you doing, Carson?" she asked him.

"Upgrading the dog," he says, peering at Z.

"Yeah? How's that workin' for you?" Z sat down cross-legged on the carpet near Bridge.

"Pretty well, actually," Bridge says, grinning at Z. "I'm working on improving his survelliance software- it's sort of important for a police dog, don't you think?"

"Oh, yeah, it's very important for a police dog to be able to, um, surveill." Z frowned. "I'm pretty sure that's not right."

"Survey?" Bridge suggests with a shrug.

"Survey! Yes." Z considered RIC for a moment, then asked, "Does he have any camoflage capabilities? I'd think a robot dog would stand out on, I don't know, stakeout or whatever."

"That's a good question," Bridge says, frowning thoughtfully as he brings something up on the display. "I wonder how I could- maybe something holographic?"

"A virtual German Shepherd, maybe?"

"That's brilliant!" he taps at the keys for a few seconds. A transparent outline of a German Shepard springs up around RIC, who tilts his head quizzically at Z.

"Well, no, that's just going to stand out *more*..." Bridge says. "Obviously needs some adjustment."

"Well, yeah, but it's a start!"

"Yeah, yeah it is," Bridge grins at Z.

Z grinned back at him, then remembered something. "Oh, hey, I was going to ask you, after the mummies. Is there something up with our sidearms? Because mine was pretty useless except as a blunt object."

Bridge looks at Z oddly. "Mine was working fine..." he says slowly. "I managed to destroy one of the mummies with it. Are you sure you had it on the right setting?"

Conner came bopping down the stairs like a complete and utter dork and sort of sashayed (but he'd kill you if you described it that way) into the second floor common room, singing to himself.

"I wanna know, know where you're at, I'm at the front but you're still at the back. Can you tell me where you're at?"

Freaking earworm. But catchy.

"Okay, I'm going to sound like a moron. There are settings?"

Peter found himself in the second floor Common Room after he realised he was too tired to climb the rest of the flights to his floor. "Evening all." He looked at Bridge strangely. "What are you doing?"

Jaye's bored, which would be why she wanders down to the common room, flops into a chair, and waves.

"I gotta know, know where you're at, I'm all alone, waiting for you to ask..." Bridge continues, automatically.

"Hey, Peter," Bridge grins. "Upgrading my dog."

"Officer Lion-Girl!" Bridge greets.

"Can you tell me where, tell me where you're at?" Conner finishes.

"Dude!" He exclaims. "Is that song still popular in the future or something?"

"Bridgey!" she says happily, though she still isn't moving yet. "How goes it."
