After a handwavey walk into town for supplies, Dawn set out a bunch of sandwich fixings, pretzels, chips of various descriptions, cookies, fruit, lemonade, iced tea, and soda.

A small handwritten sign told people to help themselves, so she didn't have to keep repeating herself.

As for Dawn, she sat down with a book to enjoy her hummus with cheese, sprouts, carrots and sweet pickles. Occasionally she sipped from her lemonade.

"It's alright," Walter said and shrugged. "It's just a tie, and it's not as though Sweden is an enemy country. Not that I'd have agreed to touch Germany's colors with a stick."

"No. No, I imagine you and Peter wouldn't," Tyler said. "Does it help at all to be here and know how it all turns out?"

"It did at first, until I learned about alternate universes and timelines," Walter said with a frown. "Now I don't know. Just because the Allies won here, doesn't mean they will where I come from."

"True," Tyler said thoughtfully. "Dunno how you could find out, either. I guess you're going to go back there after you graduate and see how it turns out for yourself."

"In theory, the war will be over before I finish school here. Time seems to be moving forward in my time at the same pace I'm experiencing it here." He shook his head in frustration. "I can't wait for Arthur to stop mucking about and let me come home."

"That sounds incredibly frustrating," Tyler said, thinking of the likelihood people were doing things in the name of Fight Club even with him far away, wondering if he even wanted to know. "Who's Arthur?"

"It is," Walter said with a nod. "Arthur is Sir Hellsing, my employer."
