Dean led the way into the Common Room with the bags of supplies he and Alec had handwavily bought in town.

"So," Dean said, putting the bags down on the kitchen counter. "Ready for your next lesson in junk food appreciation?"

Pip? Was the last person Alphonse ever expected to be fearful of a cat. So naturally, he was both surprised and amused to hear this. "You're not much of a cat person, are you?"

"I have no problem with cats. This one is evil. And it won't leave my room."

Alphonse never had a problem with them either. In fact, he rather liked them and this fact should be blatanly obvious, too, which meant he didn't have much experience in shooing them away. "Maybe it just needs to get used to you? And the same goes for you, towards him. If you start being hostile towards a cat, it'll do the same back at you."

"Her," Pip said dejectedly. "It's a her. And she scratched me to begin with."

"Her, sorry," he corrected himself. "And, well, all cats scratch, Pip. Even mine does. Just give her some time to get used to a new environment and she'll be a good cat in no time."

Pip raised an eyebrow. "I'll try. How's your cat doing?"

"He's doing fine," Alphonse answered. "Still wee and mischievious as always."

Pip nodded. "Well, maybe some time with Cuddles and Pup will calm Merdebaise down. That or she'll terroize them and be impaled by Pup."

"Naw, I don't think so," Alphonse said. "It sounds like a good idea, actually. Maybe it'll get her to calm down some."

Pip nodded. "I'm sure she'd love to meet some of the other animals. Any cat raising suggestions, then?"

"Hmm, well," Alphonse thought back on his own cat-caretaking experience. "They're usually very laid-back animals, so they're not very hard to take care of at all. The key is to please them without really spoiling them, which is mostly just feeding them and entertaining them sometimes, but that's just the least you could do."

Pip scratched the back of his head. "Well, I'm not sure spoiling this one will be difficuult. I think it already thinks it's master and commander of the entire world."

"Well, that's also probably because she's not used to being in your room," Alphonse said. "Cuddles already thinks my bed belongs to him. Cats are pretty posessive, though from my experience they don't care what you do once they've calmed down a bit."

Pip nodded. "Well, Merdebaise already thinks my bed's hers. That a common thing among cats?"

He shrugged. "I guess they just like comfy places."

Pip shrugged. "That's the rumor. So, when's a good time to try to coax Merdebaise down there?"

"Whenever you want, I don't have anything important planned. Or if it's more convenient, I can bring Cuddles up to your room, too."

"It might be," Pip said. "I'm not entirely confident in my abillity to get the cat to go anywhere."

"Then it's probably best I went up to your room instead."

Pip nodded. "Probably. Well, I'm gonna go look for Walter. Later!"
