5th Floor Commonroom: Monday Morning - Before Workshops - Pancakes and PJs!

Pippi had put up posters last night. So she got up early to make pancakes, because setting something down on poster board and going over it in glitter is like a sacred trust. Or something.

So here she is wearing a big cotton night shirt and bunny slippers in the 5th Floor Commonroom flipping up a flock of flapjacks to the music playing on her laptop.

She might be singing a little song about pancakes to herself and doing a little dance...

"Mumble mumble blah blah... pancakes don't lie... hmmm mmmm hmmmm hmmmm."

Predictable, our boy.

"Of course." Walter rummaged around for the toppings, including setting out most of the chocolate syrup from his one night stand kit, and started in on cutting up strawberries.

"That was quite a party last night. I think I may have made a deal with Blair to get him drunk for the first time."

"Oh how exciting for him!" she said, "Even if you didn't, we're going to have to do it... The only question being... What do you get him drunk on?"

"He places a lot of importance on traditions, so I assume we could tell him all about the grand tradition of rum in the British navy and its importance to pirates."

Walter gave it some consideration. "Or just research the age of beer."

Pippi nodded sagely.

"Beer is a very old drink... Mebbe we should try brewing some and get him drunk on that?"

Walter nodded back. "We could run that idea past him. How hard can brewing beer be, after all?"

"Ya! What could possibly go wrong? Go wrong? Go wrong?"

There's a bit of a pause as she looks for a moment at the bottle of chocolate sauce.

Walter grinned. "Even if he doesn't want to try it, it sounds like a fun project."

"Ya!" Pippi said. "But where should we brew it? We might be able to put it in 506 if it doesn't take up to much room. Mr. Neilson's little dolly bed doesn't take up much room. But Old Man needs space and I already have the gillyweed tanks in there.

Oh! Evil idea!

"Though if it started getting crowded in there he might spend more time out and about."

"I don't know. I think it depends upon how much beer we're brewing." He nodded thoughtfully at her suggestion. "We don't have to make enough for the whole school, after all. I don't think Old Man would be too pressed for space."
