Fifth floor common room, Friday morning (starting at 11 am)

Nadia was up early, in her swim suit top and a pair of cut offs, sitting on the floor in front of the tv with her tubs of blue, white, and yellow paint.

Even if Argentina didn't win, the game was likely to be intense. She was really looking forward to it.

"Oh, sorry," Marie apologized. "Go Argentina!"

"Who's winning?" Marie asked.

"Argentina is up by one, so if they can just hold on. . . ."

which they didn't, dammit,

"Too bad I didn't bring my pom-poms," Marie said.

"You could cheer without them. I have body paint, we could put a yellow sun on your cheek."

"That would be cool," Marie grinned.

Nadia held up the yellow paint for her. "You want me to do it?"

"That would probably be easier," Marie said, brushing her hair aside so it wouldn't be in the way.

"I wonder if we should do something like this for the next basketball game."

Nadia carefully fingerpainted an Argentine sun on her cheek. You could tell it was Argentine, because it included a small blue A in the middle.

Marie tried to cast her eyes down to see her own cheek and only succeeded in hurting her head.

"I'll have to check it out in a mirror," she decided.
