Dawn was hanging upside off one of the couches, reading. The television was showing reruns of CFD in the background, but Dawn wasn't really paying attention--the TMI-cam grossed her out.

"Yo! Stickbug brother," Jamie said with a wave. "How's it going?"

"It goes," Tyler said, nodding solemnly, though a smile crept up his face. "And you?"

"Fighting the good fight. Keeping it real," Jamie said trying to be... well weird. "What's with the doofy grin."

"Not doofy," Tyler said indignantly. And doofily.

Then he let the grin widen. "You were right about River. She was cool with everything."

"Oh yeah?" Jamie said looking amazed. "That's great. I never expected that I'd be right about something. Good for you. So you two are what? Official or something?"

"Apparently," Tyler said. "And I got the 'hurt her, I hurt you,' lecture from that guy Tim, so someone must think we're serious."

"Awww. Another bachelor bites the dust. Soon it'll just be me alone in Caritas drinking my blues away," Jamie said with a chuckle.
