Second Floor Common Room [Thursday Morning]

Bridge was bored. So he'd dragged the telekinesis ball out of his room, since he hadn't practiced in a while, and sat down crosslegged on a couch in the common room to do so.

After a few minutes, he had the ball floating in a lazy circuit around the room.

Nadia waved back, confused. "Fine. Why?" There hadn't been any false reports of her getting concussed, had there?

"Because you had a hangover the last time I saw you?" Tyler reminded her. "You looked kind of green."

From the grin he was aiming at River, it probably wasn't hard to guess the reason for his good mood.

Nadia's gaze flicked between Tyler and River for a moment and she smiled. There would probably be a devious plot forming, but she suspected there didn't need to be.

"That's cool. I'm glad someone around here isn't all emo."

"Okay, I guess. I spent most of yesterday reading up on World War II Poland." She shrugged. "Which would probably be why I'm looking for a non-emo break."

He brought along English Peter and not me?! Woah. Back down there. That doesn't make any sense.

"I don't think so. I don't think they knew each other before hand, and Walter's organization isn't exactly well known. They probably wouldn't let him bring anyone along on what's probably a classified mission."

And, yes, it's probably evident that Nadia has told herself that same thing several times already.

"I have no idea. The whole thing with time travel boggles my mind. It makes me glad I'm just from 2006. I would have flipped if I got here and found out I was in the future or the past or something."

Nadia shook her head. "Just thinking about the implications of time travel can make my head hurt. Can you change the past or the future, or is it all just different dimensions? Does Walter's dimension just happen to have 1944 meet up with 2006 in this dimension? Or if I knew what to look for, could I find Walter and the mission on in the history books? There's no way to answer most of those questions."

Tyler blinked. "And now you're making my head hurt," he told Nadia. "And if his mission succeeds -- or fails -- will what's in the history books change?"
