Second Floor Common Room [Thursday Morning]

Bridge was bored. So he'd dragged the telekinesis ball out of his room, since he hadn't practiced in a while, and sat down crosslegged on a couch in the common room to do so.

After a few minutes, he had the ball floating in a lazy circuit around the room.

River threw a look inside the second floor common room on her way down. She frowned as she noted the ball floating around the room, and began following it around.

Bridge grins and waves at River.

River grinned and waved back. "How do you do this?" she asked.

He shrugs. "Telekinesis. It's something anyone can learn- at least where I'm from. The ball," he waves a hand, "is a training tool. It's designed to be especially receptive to thoughts."

Nadia was bored and not particularly interested in hanging out in her own common room just now because then people could find her and ask questions and things so she wandered about for a bit before making her way to the second floor common room. "Hi Bridge, neat trick."

Draco entered the room and began to watch the ball float around the room. "You're doing that right? I don't have to worry about ghosts again do I?" he asks.

That made River stare more intently at the ball. She sat down next to Bridge, and poked him, hoping he could listen to her thoughts like before.

"Nope, no ghosts," Bridge says. "Just me. And I'm not a ghost, as far as I know. Though what if I was a ghost but didn't *know* I was a ghost?" he says thoughtfully.

Anders was at his workshop and Conner was bored, so he wandered down the hall to the common room. Which wasn't really his common room, just the common room on the floor where he *cough* happened to be sleeping most nights lately anyway. But there were people here.

"Hey, Bridge!"

Who, Conner? Wearing Anders's shirt again? Nah. The Reefside club soccer team's logo just happens to resemble the Caprica Buccaneers logo to a frightening degree.

"Hey Nadia!" Bridge waves. "Thanks. I think I'm getting better at it."

"Hey, Conner!" Bridge waves. And blinks at the shirt. "Nice shirt," he comments.

"Cool." Nadia watched the ball for a few moments. "You're doing that with your mind, right? How distracted do you have to be before you drop it?"

*Always useful. Can you move big things too?*

"Well then we'd be heading into that Sixth Sense movie." says Draco, taking a seat. "It's pretty cool that you can do that with your mind. A wand has to be involved if I want to do it."

Hermione had gotten a little bored in her room, so she takes her knitting project elsewhere. She takes a seat in one of the chairs with a "Hello," and sits down to finish her hat.

It's a really bad hat.

"Hey Draco," Nadia waved a little hesitantly, since she knew who this guy was, but she hadn't exactly talked to him for any length of time.

*Not yet,* Bridge admits, *but I haven't been training for very long. I hope to eventually.*

Nadia spends a moment peering at the project from afar before she finally has to ask. "What are you making?"

"Yeah, and I've... never tested that, actually." Bridge says.

Tyler stopped in on his way to lunch and noticed the floating ball, and River noticing the floating ball.

He came up behind her, frowning. "Can you do that?"

Tyler waved to Nadia. "Hey. How's your head?"

"Well, I'm only just learning," Bridge admits. "Can't move much else other than the TK ball, yet at least."
