Bridge was bored. So he'd dragged the telekinesis ball out of his room, since he hadn't practiced in a while, and sat down crosslegged on a couch in the common room to do so.

After a few minutes, he had the ball floating in a lazy circuit around the room.

"I can do plenty of things for myself. I just don't like to." says Draco "That's what house elves and muggle slaves are for."

He was joking about the muggle slaves part. He just liked seeing Granger angry.

"For someone who told me about how far he's come from when I knew him, you certainly haven't changed much," Hermione snaps.

"Oh lighten up Granger. You know I don't keep muggle slaves. It's way too much of a hassle." says Draco "At least house elves like to do their work. Something that you fail to realize."

"Only because it's all anyone has ever let them do," she says. "No one seems to care about being fair to them as long as their work gets done for them."

"Yes, Granger I'm sure all the house elves want is freedom. Look at that Dobby. Now that he's free I'm sure he's traveling the world, drinking fine wine and meeting beautiful she-elves." says Draco with a smirk. "Oh wait I believe I saw him working in the kitchens at Hogwarts just last year."

"But you keep on trucking with that spew thing, Queen of the Elves."

"It's S.P.E.W.," she repeats. "And I think I will, since there's already been interest in it here."
