Flamingo campfire, Monday evening

Ivanova hadn't really unpacked, so moving into the cabin hadn't been much of a stretch. An early night had meant that her body had gotten the sleep it needed to kick back onto Fandom time. Now, she had found an Adirondak chair somewhere, got a little crackling fire going, and kicked back to enjoy. Fresh air, open sky . . .

It was good to be home.

[[Open like an open thing, yo.]]

Maia relaxed even more, "They would be fools to try, you'd come rushing in, my knight in shining armor. To save the damsel." She said, her fingers still playing lightly against Ivanova's hand. Susan's arm around her waist made Maia feel so safe that if Drazi ninja's did come down, she knew nothing could hurt her.

"That's nice you went to see him." Maia remembered Susan mentioning Edmund in passing once or twice perhaps. "Was he happy to see you?" Maia said slowly, the night air with the fire in front of them made her feel like everything was slowing down to a beautiful pace. She could hear Susan's heart beating as she laid against her, her eyes closed against it while her smile remained in place. "I don't think he could ever be a better knight then you." She said with a contented sigh.

"Mmm." Maia sighed against Susan's stroking down her back. "Guys have a harder time of admitting things like that I think." She said, her eyes still closed. "But he'd be a fool if he didn't miss you as much as you missed him." Maia said, her fingers slipping up to Susan's hair, twisting a curl around her thumb and forefinger.

"So am I. Can we stay like this a while longer?" She said as she moved a little to snuggle more completely onto Ivanova's lap while her head snuggled into her neck.

Maia sighed happily agianst her, "So am I." Maia laid a soft kiss on Ivanova's neck what was in lip reach. She prayed the mosquitos would stay away until dawn.
