Dean plopped down on the couch and fiddled with the camera he'd signed out of photography class. Give him something with buttons and levers and switches to play with and Dean was generally a contented guy.

"I don't have a drag queen fan club," Sam replied, scowling.

"Well whatever you're calling the seranading 'sisters' then."

"A trio of insane guys who are bent on annoying me and definitely don't harbor any kind of crushes?" Sam replied. "That's how I've been thinking of them."

"They really got to you, didn't they?" Dean observed, eyeing his brother assessingly.

"They embarassed me in front of everyone at the talent show. How could that not get to me?" he said, as though that should have been obvious.

"Seems to me that they embarrassed themselves, not you," Dean pointed out. "No one's laughing at you over that."

Sam nearly pouted again. "You say that because you didn't see Dawn and Chloe laughing at me at the show."

"Well sure they were laughing at you -- since I bet you were doing an admirable job of freaking the hell out over it."

Well, there was really no arguing with that. "What else was I supposed to do? You can't tell me you wouldn't have freaked if it had been you they'd mentioned."

"Probably," Dean admitted. "But whether I'd let on I was freaked out... Sometimes you just gotta grin and roll with things."

"It's a little hard to 'roll' in the moment," Sam pointed out. "But that's what I'm trying to do now. I just don't think it's working very well."
