Pangolin Cabin: outside, morning

Parker had gotten a hot shower (hurray!) then gotten dressed and decided to take cupcakes and croissants outside with her espresso while she ate. None of her bunk mates seemed to be awake yet, so she was sleepily watching the camp wake up.

Eager to practice his non-verbal communication skills, Jack had slipped out of Seahorse. Spotting Parker, he headed over, grinning madly as he sprawled next to and lifted an eyebrow in question.

Parker raised an eyebrow in response, and offered him a croissant while she took another sip of coffee.

Looking at her quizzically, he took croissant and mouthed 'Thank you', wondering if she knew about the no speaking thing yet.

Xander, heading past Pangolin towards Flamingo, stopped when he saw people sitting outside, and waved, holding up his whiteboard with a questioning look. Which... was probably helped along by the fact that the board said Can anybody talk?

Jack shook his head, but he didn't look too worried about the situation. What he mostly looked was amused.

Parker glared. Then pouted. And thwapped at his arm.

Parker shook her head vehemently, then shrugged her shoulders in helpless what's-going-on? She pouted at Xander, looking desperate, then pointed to his whiteboard and made a begging gesture.

Xander wrote This happened at home. If it's that, it's bad. But could be just Fandom Island Wackydance too. Then he offered her the board.

Angela nodded to Xander, puzzled.

She mouthed "What is this?" and gestured to indicate the same.

Xander turned in the process of handing Parker his whiteboard, and pointed to it.

Blair wandered up and sat down near Parker without bouncing. He lifted a hand to give a small wave.

Parker noted the lack of bouncing and was immediately worried. She waved back, then pointed at Blair, eyebrows up in question, as she pointed to him, then to her throat.

Blair nodded and mimed talking with his hands and then sleeping. Then he pretended to wake up and covered his mouth with his hand.

He also mimed cupcake, looking at Parker hopefully.

Bel left the Koala cabin to see if this was some stupid prank. He saw Parker at her cabin and walked over. What the hell? he mouthed, flailing his arms out.

Parker threw her arms out in equal frustration and nodded very vigorously, mouthing Demon!

Blair looked up at Bel and held out a cupcake. You never know, maybe cupcakes soothe the savage demon.

Bel took the cupcake and mouthed Thanks. He sighed silently, wondering if he should go fetch Piper since her powers would still function despite the silence, while Phoebe's witchly powers wouldn't.

Cally had wandered back to the camp, and stopped to wave at everyone.

Blair held up his notebook with a note for Cally.

Morning! Have a cupcake, just don't let the demon monkeys get it.

Parker waved to her, looking frustrated and pissed off. Hey, she mouthed.

Angela slipped out of bed and wandered outside, rubbing her eyes. She nodded a greeting.

And then frowned, because it seemed like everyone outside was being awfully quiet.

Parker waved, then pointed to her throat, then Jack's, then everyone else's, and tried to scream.

It would be pretty apparent it wasn't working.

Z came out of the cabin dressed for a workout and said, "Hey," to Parker.

Or rather, tried to. No sound came out. "What the heck?" she mouthed. She wondered briefly if she'd gone deaf overnight, but she could still hear birds chirping and the wind rustling the leaves and all that other annoying nature-y stuff.

Parker rubbed her face in frustration, then nodded. Demon, she mouthed. Bad, bad thing.

She pointed at all of them, then made a wide-sweeping gesture to the campsite.

Then she threw her hands up, indicating her utter cluelessness about anything else.
