Koala Cabin, Late Afternoon

Bel shimmered over to Koala with his and Phoebe's stuff and the kittens, then lounged outside the cabin, enjoying the heat. The humidity he could do without, but the heat was almost like home.

Bel crossed his arms. "Mmm hmm," he said. "I also have a cell phone, you know."

Lana smiled even more sheepishly and nodded toward her dresser where her cell phone sat charging. "Left it there this morning by accident."

Bel shook his head. "Silly girl," he said.

Lana sighed. "I know. Believe me, I know."

She dumped the rest of her stuff. "So, how has your day been?"

"I made a mess in Piper's workshop today," Bel admitted sheepishly, absently brushing his hand through his hair to make sure all the cookie dough was gone.

"Cooking not quite your thing?" Lana asked.

Bel made a face. "That's putting it lightly."

Lana laughed at the face he made. "Poor Bel. Only a few more weeks, though."

"Too long," Bel sighed. "Unless I make Piper eat my cooking...."

Lana laughed again. "Phoebe might not appreciate that." She tilted her head to one side. "What are you having trouble with?"

"Everything!" Bel flailed. "I can do basic potion making but this stuff is just ridiculous."

Lana tried not to grin at his flailing, but probably failed horribly. "I'd be glad to try and give you a hand sometime," she said. "You might feel less pressured if it was just me - no Piper and no one else watching."
