River had missed making popcorn. She decided it was time for a popcorn breakfast. She had also brought her present for Pippi and put it on the table.

Popcorns were soon flying around.

Pip peeked in on his way to class.

"I smell popcorn," he said.

"Hello Pip! Have some popcorns!" River grinned happily, a few popcorns stuck in her hair.

"Do I have to eat it out of your hair?" he asked.

River extended her hand and caught a popcorn and offered it to him. "I recommend catching your own," she said. "But if you really want the ones in my hair you're welcome to have them."

"Oh no," Pip said, taking the proffered popcorn and then catching some of his own. "Those are yours, fairly and justly won."

River grinned and picked a popcorn out of her hair and put it in her mouth.

"It's good to be back," she said.

Pip nodded. "I feel the same way every time I leave. Where d'ya go?"

"Home," River said. "Serenity. It's a spaceship. Firefly model."

Pip nodded. "So... you're from the future, then?"

Pippi looked up from a bowl of popcorn.

"I see Pip." she said.

"And I see Pippi," Pip responded. "How are ya?"

"I have no workshops today and I have a bowl of popcorn and a gift I have yet to open. How are you?"

"Not bad," Pip responed. "Got two workshops today, no gift, some popcorn, and I'm not wearing a dress."

"Sounds like you're doing good to me." she said tossing some popcorn in her mouth.

Pip nodded. "By all accounts, it's going to be a lovely day." Oh if only he knew what was in store for him tomorrow!

"What are you doing after your workshops?"

Pip shrugged. "I dunno yet. I haven't really decided. Maybe go to the shooting range."

"Good morning River! Ohh Popcorn!"

"Morning!" River replied. "Want some popcorn? Oh, and your present is over there."

She pointed at a parcel wrapped in dusty red paper.

"Oh yes, I'd love some thank you!" she said holding out a small jewelry box wrapped in silver paper (http://static.flickr.com/45/193559396_94b32c6ddf_m.jpg). "And this is for you!"

"Oh, thank you!" River's eyes glittered. She quickly unwrapped the box and opened it. "It's so pretty! Where did you find it?"

Pippi's present was a small flat screen set in a metal frame with buttons on it.

"I think... That came from... Spain." Pippi said chewing on her lip in thought.

She unwrapped her package and looked at the object.

"Oooh it's wonderful! ... What is it?"

"It's a dance course. Hologram instructions included. It's old though, we didn't stop in any places where I could find new stuff. But it seems to work."

"Really? Wow! What kind of dances?"

"Oh, mostly ballroom dances I think. I guess they're out of fashion now where I come from, but that's in the future anyway."
