Pippi had come back from her trip into town with Molly to discover a bunch of holes in the wall, including one in Proty's eye.

Poor Protty!

So she flounced back into town to get a few supplies and was now patching the holes in the wall and painting over them.

She started with Proty's eye. Which she patched and then painted an eye-patch over it.

Then she added a goatee, a magnificent hat, and a hook on the end of one of his tentacles.

Meet Proty's cousin.

Obed.

She smiled at her handy work and got to work on the rest of the wall.

"So who are you when you're with somebody else?" Pippi asked, clearly skeptical.

Because this had to be more of that nonsense about how Demyx had no soul or whatever.

"I don't know who my Somebody is," Demyx replied with a shrug. "More than likely doesn't exist."

Pippi rather thought he was talking about dating now.

"Oh don't worry Demyx, you'll find that special somebody someday."

"..." Demyx stared at her. "Special somebody? Axel is special."

Now it was Pippi's turn to be confused.

"Wait... I thought you were Axel?"

"No, I'm Demyx. Axel is a tall redhead and a fire-type."

"Oh... Oh! I get it. And when you're with him he's the dominant type?"

"Axel's very dominant. But we aren't the same person. Axel is Number Eight. He's a Nobody too." Demyx shrugged. "I got to see him the other day, and maybe if I'm lucky I can either get out of here or find a way to drag him here instead of letting him just you know, stay dead."

"If you saw him the other day, then he's probably not staying dead on his own, but he may be bored where he is depending huh?" Pippi mused... "So then when you're with him, you're still yourself? Isn't that better?"

Then it dawned on her.

"Don't go! I'd miss you!" She said as she flung herself at him to give him a hug.

Good thing the paint on her face and arms was totally dry. Wouldn't want to ruin that boss OrgXII coat.

Not that she COULD ruin it, since he could probably get it clean no matter what. "Oof! I'm staying! At least for now. Don't worry!"

"You better not!" Pippi said. "We haven't been to Disneyland yet!"

Demyx gasped. "You're RIGHT!!"

"Stupid heart stealing demons taking everybody's voices so we can't leave."

"When can we go?" Demyx bounced.

"We could go this weekend, just the two of us." Pippi offered. "Pip's gone off to South America for goodness knows how long, but he might be back by then... But I'm sure Walter and Nadia would want to go."

"That'd be fun! Sure!" Demyx bounced more.

Pippi started bouncing around Demyx in a circle.

"Yay! We're going to Disneyland! We're going to Disneyland!"

Surely nothing sucky would happen to keep them from going THIS time right?

"Disneyland! Disneyland!" Demyx grabbed her hands and bounced with her. "We have to go!"
