Dawn was stretched out on one of the couches and flipping through channels.

"Oooh, sharks."

After a few minutes, she was feeling a bit hungry, so she got up to make herself a sandwich. Any resemblance between the song she was humming and the Teeth theme song was purely coincidental.

Parker took a quick photo, then chuckled. "Such a geek. But that's great! I'm glad that work wasn't wasted on him."

"Trust me, it wasn't," Isabel smirked. "So how was class today? Is Jarod as good at this class as he was with the beach one?"

"I'm having a blast," Parker admitted. "We had to bluff our way through a huge lie today, and Pippi and Tyler and I ended up with a mess of interstate zombie moose, family connections, mousetraps, swan's blood, and badger hats. It was great. Some of the other students aren't that good at it, but at least they're trying."

"Zombie moose, swan's blood and badger hats?" She grinned. "Now that sounds intriguing. Of course if zombie moose turn up, you know who I'm going to blame."

"I'm the victim here! They got me a vomiting black bear! Seriously. And I was just trying to help out the basketball team," Parker responded, faking outrage.

"A vomiting black bear? How was that supposed to help the basketball team?" Isabel asked, growing agitated.

"Exactly! Whereas a zombie moose mascot theft would be completely demoralizing! Idiots. I don't care if they are my little brother and sister, they were completely slacking off on the job!"

Isabel burst out laughing. "Actually if someone had managed to kidnap the gremlin mascot, that might have improved the morale. At least of the audience. Which reminds me, Janet stopped by. She's back to normal."

"Awesome. I saw her late yesterday, and she was still pretty shaky. I'm glad she's better now." Parker sighed. "Stupid frakking gremlins. I don't care if they *are* semi-sentient, they're a menace and we need a vaccine."

"I understand why she was so afraid now. Too bad she couldn't have had one of the happy hallucinations," Isabel frowned. "Hmmm, that sounds like a project for our resident scientists. Maybe you should prod Peter and Greg."

"Poor Janet. Gah. I'm glad she explained, and I think you get why I could't." Parker grinned then. "I intend to. Waaay back when, Zero wanted to catch one alive, but I think that plan kept getting thwarted. This may be the time to help her get her boyfriend some test samples again."

"No, I understand totally," Isabel nodded. "Well if you need help let me know. But promise me if I get bitten you'll knock me over the head immediately and lock me in a room until the venom wears off."

"Only if you promise to do the same. I've had enough public embarassment for the summer. Really. It can stop any time now." Parker shook her head. "And if we get something set up, I'll give a yell."
