Gym, Tuesday morning

One might say that Bel was full of aggression this morning by the way he was viciously attacking the punching bag. Phoebe hadn't come back to the room that night after their...was it even a fight? After she'd run out of the room because he wouldn't talk to her about the weird feelings she was picking up from him. He wasn't surprised she hadn't come home; he hoped Lana was taking care of her.

How the hell was he going to work this out? Stupid boycrush. Stupid empathic powers of the girlfriend. Stupid Bel.

For now, punching would do.

Marty headed into the gym, raising an eyebrow at Belthazor beating the crap out of the punching bag. He gave Bel a curt nod as he started stretching out.

"Bad day?"

"You could say that," Bel grumbled, giving the bag a firm kick.

"What did the bag do to you?" Marty said with a small smirk.

"It's blue," Bel said, shrugging. Seemed as good a reason as any.

Wandering into the gym, Callisto swore under her breath when she saw Belthazor had already snagged the punch bag. She headed over to the mats and started drilling instead.

Marty waved at Callisto.

"Morning!" he said cheerfully.

"Marty," Callisto grunted. She moved through her drill with all the elegance and grace of a herd of stampeding rhinoceroes on a drunken bender.

Marty was beginning to wonder if the equipment in the gym was going to be all broken by the end of Bel and Callisto's workout routine.

"Beautiful day isn't it?" he asked cheerfully.

Bel caught Callisto's arrival out of the corner of his eye. Great, he groaned silently, wondering if she'd heard the radio announcement that he and Dawn had been discussing Angel's anatomy. That was all he needed.

Callisto glared at Bel. Possibly because she'd heard the radio broadcast, possibly because she was wondering why she had a sudden yet completely unrelated urge to throw him off the roof.

Bel saw the glare and assumed she'd heard the broadcast. "It's not what you think," he said in protest.

Nadia was supposed to spar with Walter later today. Whether that had anything to do with her showing up in the gym to try and practice her fighting forms . . . well. The two probably weren't related, really.

There were actually people there. Weird. She bypassed them and went to look for a quiet, open corner where she could spin her staff without hitting anything.

Marty waved casually at Nadia. "How you feeling?"

Nadia shrugged, spinning her staff around behind her back. "I'm doing okay. Thanks."

Pippi was alternating between regular and cross-arm jumps while turning in a circle when she noticed Nadia in her corner.

"Good morning!"

Nadia paused briefly in her practicing and waved. "Hey, Pippi,"

Conner paused after the third repetition of the kata he was doing and waved. It had been a while since he'd gotten any staff work done.

"Big Red T-Staff" embarrassments had nothing to do with it. Really.

While there were many things that Nadia had forgotten about, the hilarity of the "big red T-staff" was not one of them. She might have smirked slightly as she waved back.

Pippi is totally not worried that a certain person who went on a certain mission to a certain place isn't back yet.

She grabs a jump rope and starts skipping.

Conner headed down to the gym with plans of doing a little kata work. He raised an eyebrow at Bel and the punching bag, then staked out a quiet corner with some mats and started in on a new and fairly complicated routine he was learning. For now, he was taking it slow until he got the moves down cold.

Sam headed down to the gym to wait for Dean, having promised him that they would spar today. For the moment, he was just trying to calm himself down, not wanting to take his aggression about getting detention out on his brother.

Dean showed up about twenty minutes later than he'd said he'd be there, the detour to the principal's office having taken a little longer than he'd planned.

"Next time you go all Mohommad Ali on someone, we're getting our stories straight before you get called to the principal's office," he told his brother.

By the time Dean showed up, Sam had managed to relax, but from the sound of things, that wasn't going to last long.

"Why? What happened?"
