Third Floor Common Room - Tuesday Evening

Kawalsky had pizza. Pizza was good. He had way too much pizza for one person. He also knew that going to the second floor common room would mean the pizza would be gone in an instant. So he was making people work for it. If people wanted pizza, they'd have to come to the third floor common room.

Honey, I Laminated the Children was on TV. Kawalsky loved this movie.

"Definitely," Marie agreed. "So have you been up to anything interesting lately? I've been kind of anti-social."

Cally shook her head. "Not much myself, no," she said. "Other than hanging out in common rooms."

"Which can sometimes be pretty interesting," Marie pointed out.

"Yeah," Cally said. "Spent some nice time with Demyx last night, actually."

"Oh, he seems really nice," Marie said. "I haven't spent a lot of time with him though."

"I've only seen him a few times," CAlly said. "But he's reaaaally friendly." She was kinda smiling goofily.

"Oh?" Marie asked. "Do you... like him?"

"It's a little early to make any sort of commitment," Cally said. "But yeah, I could see that, yeah."

"Well, good," Marie said. "Just make sure he isn't sleeping with another boy."

It's entirely possible Marie forgot that the boy Conner was sleeping with was Cally's ex.

"I'll keep that in mind, yeah," Cally said, with a chuckle. "You having any luck on that front?"

Marie shrugged. "Haven't really thought about it much."

Cally nodded. "Probably for the best. If you get hung up on stuff like that? Things can get real weird."

"I went this long without dating," Marie said.

Cally nodded again. "You've got a really healthy attitude," she said. "Way better than mine, even." She chuckled.

"Because while I got through almost sixteen years without even dating, I break up with a boyfriend and instantly start thinkin' I have to find someone new?"
