Third Floor Common Room - Tuesday Evening

Kawalsky had pizza. Pizza was good. He had way too much pizza for one person. He also knew that going to the second floor common room would mean the pizza would be gone in an instant. So he was making people work for it. If people wanted pizza, they'd have to come to the third floor common room.

Honey, I Laminated the Children was on TV. Kawalsky loved this movie.

[OOC: PIZZA FOR ALL!]

"Maybe your reality has someplace she could go?" Bridge says hopefully. "I mean, back home, at the Academy, people were more understanding of the fact that my teammates and I had these... powers. It's possible where you're from there's someplace like that."

"Maybe," Marie says. "I hope so. And I hope she finds her way there."

She sighs. "I hated feeling so helpless," she admits.

"You did more than those other people did, though." Bridge points out. "That's a start."

"I didn't do anything," Marie says. "I tried to tell my parents that maybe she wasn't that bad and they started talking about how maybe this school was too liberal and maybe I needed to come back home. So I shut up really fast."

"You tried, that's something." Bridge insists. "Standing up against something wrong that everyone around you believes is right? That's not exactly easy." He smiles slightly, then. "Besides, I'm glad you were able to come back here."

Marie smiles back. "I am too. Of course, it's going to make it that much harder the next time I have to go home for a visit," she says.
