Cally was camped out on the couch, flipping through the channels of the TV until she found something interesting.

Ooooh, Mythbusters marathon.

The slinky stretched up to get onto the couch next to Cally.

Cally lowered a hand to give the slinky an easier step up onto the couch.

The Slinky stepped up onto her hand and then onto the couch, where it "stood" with both ends on the couch and shivered happily.

Cally smiled at the slinky again. "You lost?"

Another slinky came slinking and placed itself in front of Cally. It jumped back and forth between its two ends.

The Slinky started to jiggle an answer but fell over on the soft uneven couch cushions and rolled back.

Cally blinked at the two slinkies, now.

"Oh dear," she said. Strange sinister slinky thoughts were passing through her brain.

Slinky number two began to bounce up and down, while swaying a little from side to side.

The first slinky waggled its ends in an attempt to right itself.

Slinky number two tried to get up on the couch, but it wasn't completely uncomplicated.

"Ooookay," Cally said. "Are you guys alive?"

Slinky number two rubbed itself against her foot. It might be a way to ask for assistance.

The slinky shivered happily, then rolled away to assist the other slinky.

The slinky on the couch shivered in distress that it couldn't get back up on its ends.

Slinky number two began to push at one end of its friend by leaning against it. Unfortunately the pushing wasn't very effective as there seemed to be a risk of getting stuck in the other slinky.

Cally looked down at the third slinky, and then at the other two.

"No. No kinky slinkys. No."

Cally sighed and reached a hand down to help the third slinky up onto the couch.

The third slinky slinked joyfully into her hands ahnd shivered there, making slinky noises. Slinky noises that somehow conveyed happiness.
