Cally was camped out on the couch, flipping through the channels of the TV until she found something interesting.

Ooooh, Mythbusters marathon.

Nadia wasn't flailing, unlike her mun didn't have to get to class for a bit and had had enough of staring at self-propelled slinkies, and thus went looking for some people.

Lo and behold, a Cally!

"Hey," Cally said, waving at Nadia. "Sleep well last night?"

Nadia nodded. "Not too bad. No weird dreams or anything," though that might have helped figure out how to get Phoebe back to normal. "You?"

"Eh," Cally said with a shrug. "Decent, considering."

"Considering what?"

"Considering yesterday ended with finding out the boy you were flirting with was off to go put on leather pants explicitly for the enjoyment of your ex-boyfriend?"

"He was with Anders? He wouldn't tell me!" Nadia blinked. "Wow, Anders really went gay, didn't he." She blinked again, and looked very serious. "Which sucks. I'm sorry."

Cally shrugged. "I guess I'm doing the world a favor in letting boys discover their true sexuality or something."

"As far as desitinies go . . . that one kind of sucks."

Cally shrugged. "Meh," she said. "I'm just gonna do myself a favor and not dwell on it."

Cally raised an eyebrow. "Okay, that was a little surprisingly assertive."

"Sorry, I described everything that way when I was nine. It's kind of a joke."

Cally blinked at the slinky.

As it was, endlessly going up and down stars was rather dull.

It slinked its way up to Cally.

Cally decided to wave at the slinky.

The Slinky slinked to a stop and then waggled it's top at Cally.

Cally smiled at the slinky. "Hello," she said.

Slinkys don't talk, it slinked to the left and then the right in response.

The slinky stretched up to get onto the couch next to Cally.

Cally lowered a hand to give the slinky an easier step up onto the couch.

The Slinky stepped up onto her hand and then onto the couch, where it "stood" with both ends on the couch and shivered happily.
