Isabel sat on the counch watching March of the Penguins hoping a movie about Antartica would help her not think about how hot it was. It wasn't working.

"Gah! Horrors!" Isabel shuddered. "That sounds like hell."

"Yeah, Dean and I have stayed in some pretty uncomfortable places. This isn't so bad. Plus, there's apparently a new ice cream place in town, and if that doesn't make things better, I don't know what would."

"There is?" Isabel asked, displaying more enthusiasm then she had all evening. "I'm going to have to go check it out."

"Yeah, it just kind of popped up. I think someone saw an untouched market and a school full of overheated kids, and put two and two together."

"They're going to make a fortune. At least as long as this heat wave keeps up." She grinned, "I'm going to have to steal your roommate one day and go get a sundae."

Sam eyed Isabel playfully. "Normally, I don't let just anyone steal my roommate, but you don't seem like you pose a threat to her, so I suppose I can allow it."

"I promise I'll return her unharmed. And if you ask nicely, I might even bring back some ice cream for you."

"I would almost consider that bribery if I didn't really, really want ice cream at some point." Sam laughed. "I'd really appreciate it, thank you."
