Parker's trying to photograph the stars against the trees, and reflected in the water, for Photography class. It's not going as well as she'd hoped.

She is very interruptable.

"Faithful, get back here!" Alanna's voice came first. Then Faithful. Then Alanna.

It's not like the roof is a usual hangout for Bridge. So why is he up here? No real reason.

"Hey," he says, as he walks over to Parker. "Haven't talk to you since the... stuff, this past weekend."

Parker blinked, and turned around in time to get a shot of Faithful against the balustrade. "Hey, Alanna. Being driven nuts again?" She grinned at Faithful, stalking along the edge of the roof. "You never let up."

"No, we haven't." Parker fiddled with the camera lens a moment, then blurted out, "I owe you. So much. I don't...." She shook her head. "I don't know what to say."

Jamie walked out onto the roof carrying his utility belt and some climbing gear. "Hey guys. What's up?"

Bridge just smiles a little, and shrugs. "I'm just glad I could help a friend," he says honestly.

Parker aimed the camera at him, and clicked. "I'm working on my last Photography assignment, since the others didn't get as much time as I wanted. Are you doing that *again*?" she asked, half-admiring, half amused.

Faithful grinned. "Alanna gets motion sick!" "Shut up!"

"I know. But you gave me an explanation for something I'd been wondering about *forever*. About Angelo and his empathy, and why he's non-verbal and odd, and ....." She looked up, finally. "And then there's the other thing."

"I knew that, but--" Parker grinned. "Tell me watching him tight-rope walk doesn't make you ill, 'cause that's just sad." She took a shot of Alanna, for good measure. "How goes everything else, aside from your Furry Perpetual Torment?"

"Stairs are for suckers," Jamie said ignoring the fact he just walked up a couple of flights as he started unloading his gear. "I thought I'd rappel down the side of the building for fun."

"We're visiting Anakin's home planet or something like that Friday." Alanna pointed out. "He's been worse than usual." Faithful grinned. "Shut up. And I've been good, kind of just hanging around in my room and the gym, practice slicing."

Callisto stumbled up onto the roof. "Men," she announced. "Are bastards."

"It *does* look like fun," Parker said, a little wistfully. "How many people did you talk into doing that last Saturday?"

"Oh, crap." Parker omitted the what now? from being said, and said, "Yes they are. Need me to hold your coat while you hurt someone? And I'm not guessing on who."

"Hey Bridge," Jamie said with a wave as he started setting up his climbing equipment. "How's it going?"

"Ahh. Of course he has." Parker choked back a snicker. "Do you have time to practice teaching me tomorrow? I was hoping to catch you today, but I was bumming around trying to get good shadow photos."

"Hurt someone?" Callisto laughed. "I was worried abuot hurting him. Stupid."

"Sure. I very rarely mind." Faithful snickered and trotted over to torment other people. "Can we kill the cat?" Alanna faux whispered.

Clearly, Cal's in one of those moods. "Okay, I have no idea what's going on. How stupid has Angel been, and how badly do you want me to bribe Bel to take you there to hurt him in person?"

"I don't know. Can we?" Parker whispered back, dubiously. "'Cause I think Faithful would just rise from the dead to taunt us anew. He'd do it just to be funny." She patted Alanna's arm. "Not looking forward to Coruscant, I take it."

"Not looking forward to the trip." Alanna corrected. "And hoping Anakin won't make us actually fly because I am nowhere near good enough to even stay up for a minute."

"Five or six?" Jamie said with a shrug. "We had one join us on the way up. Anders. It's a good way to get around."
