The Roof, after sunset

Parker's trying to photograph the stars against the trees, and reflected in the water, for Photography class. It's not going as well as she'd hoped.

She is very interruptable.

"Faithful, get back here!" Alanna's voice came first. Then Faithful. Then Alanna.

Parker blinked, and turned around in time to get a shot of Faithful against the balustrade. "Hey, Alanna. Being driven nuts again?" She grinned at Faithful, stalking along the edge of the roof. "You never let up."

It's not like the roof is a usual hangout for Bridge. So why is he up here? No real reason.

"Hey," he says, as he walks over to Parker. "Haven't talk to you since the... stuff, this past weekend."

"No, we haven't." Parker fiddled with the camera lens a moment, then blurted out, "I owe you. So much. I don't...." She shook her head. "I don't know what to say."

"Hey Bridge," Jamie said with a wave as he started setting up his climbing equipment. "How's it going?"

"Bridge!" Faithful cheerfully ran up to him. "Good morning!"

Jamie walked out onto the roof carrying his utility belt and some climbing gear. "Hey guys. What's up?"

Parker aimed the camera at him, and clicked. "I'm working on my last Photography assignment, since the others didn't get as much time as I wanted. Are you doing that *again*?" she asked, half-admiring, half amused.

Callisto stumbled up onto the roof. "Men," she announced. "Are bastards."

"Oh, crap." Parker omitted the what now? from being said, and said, "Yes they are. Need me to hold your coat while you hurt someone? And I'm not guessing on who."

"All men? Or just one in particular?" Jamie asked warily.

"Yeah, they are." Alanna agreed. "Beheading?"

"Cal?" Bridge peers at Callisto worriedly.

"Pretty much, yeah," Tyler said. "You surprised?"

Tyler? Also bored. He climbed up to the roof and started looking for pebbles to throw over the edges.

Parker took a quick photo of him as he came through the door, and said, "Hey, Tyler. Homegirl?" She grinned, snapping photos of the trees while she talked.

Cally was hauling a CO2 scrubber up onto the roof when she saw the crowd.

"Uhhh, nothing to see here, nope, nothing. Nothing illegal, noooooo."

Parker took a photo. "So I can't sell this photo for anything worthwhile?"

Anders had a bottle of ambrosia in each hand as he wandered up to the roof.

"I. Am. So. Dead."

He sat down, cracked open one bottle, and started gulping it down.

Bridge peers at Anders.

"Dude?"

Xander said what Bridge said. Only in past tense with his head tilted in the opposite direction.

"Daisy? Do I *want* to know?" Parker asked warily. "Who wants to kill you now?"

The last time Xander had been up on the roof, he'd been carrying a laptop and making liberal use of his delete key. This time... it was a lot more crowded. And he couldn't really think of anything he wanted to delete.

"Hey, unexpectedly large collection of people."

After talking to Callisto and Parker, Bridge is just kind of... lying sprawled out on the roof and looking up at the stars.

"Hey!" he says, at the sound of Xander's voice. "There's no TV up here, but there's stars and stuff." He points upwards.
