Dorm Courtyard, Tuesday evening

Peter sat under a tree, reading a Ratguy & Sparrow, the Boy Marvel trade paperback. This was the classic storyline where the fans actually called an 800 number to vote for Sparrow's death. Comic fans were demented in the 80's.

Mainly he was just enjoying the evening. It was so peaceful out here...

"When I get my revenge, it'll be nerdy and inconvenient. This is way past my line," Peter said. "I have no clue who would put snakes in somebody's room, though. If I find out anything, I'll let you know."

Kawalsky was now calm. Sort of. He was as calm as he could be considering there were live snakes in his room.

"Okay." He believed Peter. "Then I'm sorry for attacking you."

"Not a problem, you're freaked out, it's understandable," Peter said. "Just be glad I'm rational and tough to hit."

"Um, sorry if this is a stupid question, but did you get the snakes out?"

"I could help get them out if you want. I can web them up and put them... well, somewhere pretty quickly," Peter said. "At the very least, it'll be easier for the janitor to transport them."

"Really?" Kawalsky blinked, then nodded. "Yeah. Uh, please. The sooner they're gone, well...yeah."

"Not a problem. I just have to grab my webs from my room and we're set," Peter said. "Let's go."

Kawalsky nodded and followed Peter, but not before glancing around at the courtyard. If Peter hadn't put the snakes in his room, then someone else had. Someone with a pretty sick sense of humor. Someone who was going to get a mouthful when he found out.

Now if only he could figure out who that someone was.
