2nd Floor Common Room [Late Thursday Afternoon]

The temperature on the second floor was unusually hot. Bridge could, of course, do the sensible thing and just hang out in another floor's common room. But where's the fun in that?

So he's lounging on the couch in the second floor common room. Without a shirt. As you do.

Alanna nearly bounced in. "Don't you just love it?"

Bridge looks up. "That's right, you're a fan of heat." He says with a grin.

Alanna grinned and flopped down. "Yup yup! But you all will be laughing come winter, though." Faithful trugged into the room. "Meow."

"Well, in winter you can bundle up and be almost as warm," Bridge says. "Or stay inside and crank the heat up to these sorts of levels."

"Guh!" Said a freshly showered D as she flopped down somewhere on the couch. "Tell me this is someone's piss-poor idea of a joke. Please?"

"Ohmigodhot," Dawn said as she flopped on one of the couches. Even though she was wearing a camisole tank top and a loose pair of shorts and her hair was tied up, she was still visibly sweating. "And hi. I'm ready for the ice cube fairy to show up..."

Peter had visited J, GoB and was now looking for people to share doughnuts with.

"Afternoon all!" He said with a grin. He paused. "Is it hotter here than the other floors?"

Alanna grinned. "That's the plan!"

"Hey, D'anna!" Bridge says with a wave. "I'm not sure. Has it been like this all day? I had another workshop after Wilderness, so I only just got here."

"Do you have those here?" D'anna asked in all seriousness. On a place that wasn't supposed to exist, anything was possible...

"I haven't seen one, but there's always a reason to hope, right?" Dawn leaned up on her elbows. "We could go look? Or set out ice cubes to attract them?"

"Daaaaaawn hi," Bridge waves. "Um, there's cold drinky stuff in the fridge I think?" He offers.

"Mostly, I think." D shrugged. "I came back after Surviving Callisto, and drown myself in the shower."

Bridge nods. "It really, really is."

"Anything could happen here, I believe." D grinned. "And set out some doughnuts to help them along. Or, you know, attract Xander."

"Did you get hit?" Bridge asks, curiously.

"Hello, Peter!" D'anna waved. "Nope, you've just fallen into the new school oven is all."

"You don't like the heat?" Alanna asked innocently.

Dawn grinned over at Bridge. "If he's got both a shirtless boyfriend and doughnuts, he may never leave the Common Room."

"Doughnut?" Peter asked, setting the box on the table. He grinned at Bridge's lack of clothing. "Didn't you get enough of that earlier?"

"You are a sick, sick woman." D'anna greeted by return.

Alanna beamed. "I love the heat! I'm moving to the desert as soon as I can." Faithful wimpered and crawled under the couch.

"Bridge!" Dawn waved limply from the sofa. "Too much effort. This is why I need another boyfriend. If I had one, I could make him get me a drink."
