Lana's Birthday Party: Common Room 4th Floor

A section of the common room was decorated with balloons, streamers and a Happy Birthday Lana banner. A cake sat in the middle of a table ready to slice. Confetti, noise makers and little curls of ribbon littered the two surrounding tables, a third table for presents was decorated with just as much fanfare.

Phoebe laughed. "Preparation is very good."

"Right, sex at knifepoint, with a taser if things get too out of hand," Lana joked. "Every girl's fondest wish."

Phoebe giggled so much at that she had to lean against the wall.

Lana couldn't stop giggling herself. "We're a fine pair," she said.

Phoebe grinned. "Wouldn't trade us for the world."

Lana giggled a little. "I'm really sorry I missed out on the sake party the other day. You'll have to do it again sometime when I can attend."

Phoebe grinned. "I had a balst and we should."

"Anytime. Just let me know. Not that I regret doing what I was doing at the time." Lana gave her a sly grin.

This made Phoebe laugh and then she gave Lana a teasing look. "Here's what we could do. We drink and we skip the games and go right to the kissing."

She was managing to keep a straight face.

"Kissing sounds good," Lana admitted. "Make sure we invite lots of cute guys."

Phoebe laughed. "I'm sure we can," she nodded.

"I'll leave it in your capable hands, then," Lana said with a grin.

Phoebe did a mental facepalm. "Don't do that," she said shaking her head. "We'd end up with a room of half-naked people."

"Oooooh! Sounds nice!"

Phoebe giggled. "Oh! We could have a party with only us and Maia as the girls and all of the other guests guys..."

"Maia might be a little disappointed about that," Lana pointed out.

"Well... we'd have to find nice females then that we approve of and that we know won't hurt her."

"Right," Lana said. "This may be a trickier proposition than I originally thought."

Phoebe tried to keep a straight face. "We need to find her girls like us... or just keep her for ourselves."

Lana made a little face. "I don't know how happy she'd be about that. Seeing how you're in a relationship and I'm not into girls. She might feel a little shortchanged."

Phoebe frowned. "There is that. We need to find her someone that will cherish her again."

"Yes! One lovely girl to cherish Maia and one amazing guy to cherish me. That's what we need!"

Phoebe nodded emphatically. "We must find these people for the two of you."

"I completely agree."

Phoebe smiled faintly. "I need to bail out for awhile, Lana... Piper is leaving soon tonight and I have kind of avoided the whole saying goodbye thing."
