Lana's Birthday Party: Common Room 4th Floor

A section of the common room was decorated with balloons, streamers and a Happy Birthday Lana banner. A cake sat in the middle of a table ready to slice. Confetti, noise makers and little curls of ribbon littered the two surrounding tables, a third table for presents was decorated with just as much fanfare.

After talking to Blair (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/770680.html?thread=55304824#t55304824) Maia went back over to Lana. "Hey Lana, are we going to do The Weird Hometowns again this semester?" Maia said beaming.

Jude arrived late, skateboard under his arm and looking bone-tired, but still offered a grin to the birthday girl.

"Lana! Bra!" And then he launched into song. "This is your birthday song, it isn't very long!"

Marie wasn't really in a party mood after last night, but Phoebe had left her a handwavy message that it was Lana's birthday, so she stopped by anyway.

"Happy Birthday," she said, managing a smile.

Something sucky and fandomy happened to take up Pippi's evening, but she made sure she dropped off

a metal case which contained a long grey box (http://www.gemstonegifts.com/necklaces/images_necklaces/NEC11_pearl_slinks.jpg) and a tazer. Both wrapped in gold paper.

How it got there no one could say but on the table, hidden away among the other gifts, sat a nicely pricey box of chocolates (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/no_chocolate/FH/chocolates.jpg) with a card (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/no_chocolate/FH/birthdaycard.jpg) that on the inside read, Happy Birthday, Golden Girl - Many Happy Returns, the Gold Squad - GO GOLD GREMLINS!.
