Lavender shyly walked into the common room and found herself a seat. She sat there idly flipping through a copy of Witch Weekly and looking around for some fellow students.

Okay, so Bridge knew Lavender's room was on the third floor... somewhere. But he wasn't quite prepared to go knocking on people's doors to see if they were her. So he heads to the common room, since that seems a good a place as any to start.

"Hey!" he gives a cheerful wave to the girl he doesn't recognise.

"Hi!" Lavender says in her british accent. "I'm Lavender." She holds out a hand.

"Oh!" Bridge says with a grin. "I'm Bridge. Your big brother except I'm not actually your brother because you'd probably know me already if I was. But I'm your big brother in the sense that I'm here to show you around and answer questions and stuff like that!" he takes Lavender's hand and shakes it enthusiasatically.

Lavender takes a moment to process all of this. "Oh! That's great! I admit I am rather overwhelmed."

Z wandered into the common room. "Oh, hi. Either you're new, or I really have been hiding in my room all summer. I'm Z Delgado."

Lavender giggled, "I'm new." She waves and puts down her magazine. "I'm Lavender Brown."

"Nice to meet you, Lavender," Z said. "You're...English?"

"Yep, I grew up in London but the school I've just left was in Scotland. And you?"

Dean headed down to the third floor to look for his brother. He ducked his head into the common room to check if Sammy was in there and saw one of the new girls instead. "Oh, hey."

"Hi!" says Lavender a little too high pitched. She's blushing slightly.

"You're either new or very good at hiding in your room all summer," Dean observed with a grin.

"You know, you're the second person to ahve said something like like that?" She giggled.
"I'm new. Lavender Brown." She offers a hand to shake.

Cedric's one floor down for one reason or another, adjusting to not having anything at all to do when he wanders into the third floor common room.

He stops and stares. "You're here too?"

Lavender's mouth drops open. She considers running but can't she just stares.

"You're dead!"

"Obviously, I'm not," Cedric says but winces anyway. "I'm alive. Many people have told me so since I arrived. When did you arrive?"

"A few hours ago" Lavender is desperately trying to get a hold of herself. She doesn't see Cedric's wince.

"Harry and Dumbledore.. they said... I saw your father..."

Before heading outside, the twins stop by their floor's common room, mainly checking to see if anyone is there to entertain their completely bored minds today.

Heads tilt a bit together. "Good afternoon." They say flatly in unison.

Lavender is a bit startled "Um, hello."

"Twins, random doubles, clones, or duplicates?" Z asked them. Any of the above were possibilities, as far as she was concerned.

"Twins." It had started to sound like a little accapello duet whenever they were around. "There are clones around here?" Any sort of strange occurance seemed to strike their interest easily.

After visiting Anakin, Xander did the Fandom High Stairmaster routine of checking all the common rooms for signs of a missing Bridge; third floor won, and he waved to faces both old and new, once he'd made sure the one he was looking for was here. "Hey, folks."

"Hey!" Bridge says brightly. "I found my little-sibling-type person!" he waves to indicate Lavender.

"Hiya!" Xander waves to both of them, coming over to join Bridge. "I figured that was where you were heading, but I couldn't remember which floor, so I did the grand tour. Stopped by to see Anakin on the way."
