3rd Floor Common Room, Friday Evening

Having rummaged through every drawer in Angela's room to no avail, the gremlin-bitten girl went to what looked like some kind of living room. She climbed up on the counter and started poking through the cabinets; there had to be alcohol somewhere.

After all, this was, like, some fancy boarding school, right?

"Min?" Rayanne said, not recognizing the name, then remembered the cat Angela had blabbed about once, who had gone exploring in the dresser the gremlin had come out of. "She's fine. Fat and happy."

"And are you okay?" Alanna's eyebrow rose a little. Faithful glanced at Angela and snorted to himself.

"Peachy," Rayanne said positively. "Why wouldn't I be?"

Alanna shrugged. "You just seem ... off. Stress of saying good-bye?"

Yay, an excuse to jump on. "That must be it," she said. "After all the goodbyes lately" -- and she hoped to god there had been more than one -- "I'm just really really tired and stressed out. That's why I asked about a drink. I need to relax."

"That's beginning to sound like a good idea." Alanna muttered under her breath and gave Faithful a big snuggle. "People shouldn't be allowed to leave."

"What, ever?" Rayanne asked, before remembering she was supposed to be Angela. "I mean, definitely. No leaving. I am staying," she pointed to th couch, "Right here. Forever."

Alanna blinked, quite a few times. "That's good. Are you sure you're okay?"

"Like I said, peachy," Rayanne said with a grin.

She scruffed Faithful behind the ears and turned to talk to the nearest male person. Guys were erasier to fool.
