The Roof// Friday Evening
Seras had, once again, spent the day in her room. However, rather then shivering under the covers, she'd merely been curled up in bed reading some of her favourite adventure novels.
Now, with her head full of deeds of daring do done by people more noble and lucky than they had any right to be, Seras climbed up onto the roof for some fresh air.
Growing up in either the city or in institutions who had a definite 'inside before dark' policy, Seras had yet to grow tired of gazing up at the stars.
She found a cozy place, took out a scarf she'd been knitting, and settled in to enjoy the show.

Seras shrugged.
"I mostly wanted to see if I still had the knack, anyhow."

"I've always suspected that to be the real reason behind the so-called 'feminine arts'" she said, "It'd be a damned sight harder for any so-called Viking or Cossak or whatever to carry you off if he's got one of these babies sticking out've his eye."

Not so good mood now. Not quite a bad one, but not so good.

"Care to talk about it?"

"I suppose I'm lucky in that everyone I've got to know really well is staying."
That and she'd never really made any friends in the various institutes and orphanages, anyhow...
"I know everyone says this, and it's not the same, but you will still be able to keep in touch."

"So you did. I suppose you'll have to cross that bridge when you come to it."
Still, not very helpful, though...Seras bit her lip and looked over at Nadia.
"Have you got any sort've ritual for things like this? Like the one you do with the brownies and the dancing for people who've broken up?"

"Have you ever wanted to...talk to someone about it. Not like we're doing, now I mean. But...someone with a degree. Who could help you make sense of it?"

Seras sighed and clasped her hands together under her chin.
"I...I don't like therapists, myself. But, if a friend of mine decided that that's what they needed so that they could...feel better about things, then I'd say 'good on you. go for it'."

"Hrm...we could put on a play. In the rain. Like Shakespeare in the park only soggier..."

"Well, if you're going to be all mysteeerious about it, Madame Spy."
She chuckled and whistled the tune to 'If All The Raindrops Were Lemon Drops and Gum Drops' under her breath.
