The grounds by the front gates, Sunday
Nadia had decided that what Bel had said the night before was right. They didn't want to freak Marie out by having crowds that were too big bearing down on them. So she decided she'd "hold down the fort", so to speak, and stay here to wait in case Marie came back.
She had her toughbook with her, and was currently working on setting up a rough map of the island. She hoped to keep up with the search parties and mark off those locations that had been cleared as having no Marie.
Sure, the girl could double back, but it would be a start. And part of her training had included working support in the black van.

There was no way Joxer had snuck up on Nadia. He had clattered his way up with about as much stealth as a hippopotamus in a chicken coop.

Spying Nadia with her laptop, Aziraphale stopped and headed over, hoping she might have some more information, and also figuring that they might be of more assistance staying in one place where they could be called for if the need arose.
"Excuse me, my dear. I'm Aziraphale, this is James Wilson. We got a call from Belthazor about a missing student, and were wondering if there might be anything we could do to help. I'm guessing you might be involved in the search?" He gestured toward the map of the island visible on her laptop screen.
[ooc: Sorry about all of that. Temporary brain spaz? :/]

[ooc: no problem.]

The smile turned quickly into a frown as he looked out toward the town. "Do we have any idea at all where she might have gone?"
He wished he'd had a chance to meet the missing young woman, then at least he'd have something he could search for himself.
[ooc: Wilson modded by permission.]

"Madrox to home base. Me and the dupes have searched through about half the wildlife preserve and we've got squat. Well we did find some remnants of student clothing presumably leftover from that Wilderness Survival course but that's about it."

As she spoke, Nadia used her other hand to tap at some spots on her screen with her stylus, indicating the preserve had been half checked over.

That'd be Nadia's phone ringing, there.

"Hey, Nadia," he said as he passed, eyes still fixed on some point in the near distance. Whatever it was he was looking at seemed to veer sharply to the left right about then, drawing his gaze, and just like that he ran off after it again.

Maybe he was chasing the invisible Dr. Tommy again.

That didn't leave that much left for the original Marie to be hiding in. Hopefully they'd find her, soon.
