3rd Floor Common Room, Tuesday Late Morning/Early Afternoon

Matilda had woken up a bit late craving pancakes. She had brought along a fairly large box of pancake mix because her mother knew it was her very favorite food. She even had a gigantic bottle of syrup to go along with it. She decided to make some before class. (Un)fortunately she got a bit carried away and made way more than she could eat. She waited around and left the griddle on in case she could find a few people to eat her leftovers.

"Thank you." Faithful began lapping at the milk. Alanna chocked on her pancake. "You're thirteen and already my height? The world is not fair! I'm 18." Alanna pouted from her grand height of five feet.

Matilda couldn't help the smirk that crept onto her face. But she attempts to comfort Alanna, "Hey being short has pleanty of good points!"

"Oh yeah, plenty." Alanna rolled her eyes. "Especially if you're training to be a knight."

"Haha. Maybe not. But think that all the other knights might not be able to duck as well as you can. And when you're here you can always use being short because it makes everyone think you're cute!" She makes a pouty face to prove her point.

Alanna blinked. "Okay, I probably should have pointed out that I'm disguised as a boy back home, so being cute? Not so good. Though I am faster than most people."
