4th Floor Common Room, Tuesday after classes

Blair headed out to the common room to relax after a hard day of meditating. Yeah, it sounded weird to him too.

He popped some popcorn and flipped the channel till he found some Bitterwoman reruns.

"Did I miss something on the radio about a giant?" Blair asked.

"The giant that Nadia sent me after that might have kidnapped Marie," Joxer explained. "I never did find it."

"Nadia sent you after a giant that kidnapped Maire." Blair frowned. He was pretty sure that there was a lie somewhere in this story, but he wasn't sure where. "When did she send you after it?"

"Sunday morning," Joxer said. "She was organizing the search efforts."

"Ahhh." Blair smiled. "Then the giant probably is gone. You know giants, very busy working their regular jobs during the week. Can't be off kidnapping people all the time."

"Exactly," Joxer said. "And after learning that I was all ready to kick his or her butt to Tartarus and back, they'll probably stay at their day job."

"You scared them straight, man." Blair grinned and bounced.

"You can do that?" Joxer asked. "I thought that sort of thing was a personal preference or something."

Blair blushed and almost dropped the popcorn in shock. "I meant... with the... not the..."

Joxer raised an eyebrow. "I mean, how would anyone have known, if there was only the one giant, anyhows? Was it talking in a Spanish accent and dancing a lot?"

"..." Blair flailed and dumped the popcorn. "What the heck does that have to do with anything?"

"You said that I scared him. . ." Joxer looked at Blair. "Wait, are we talking about the same thing?"

"Oh God, I hope not." Blair mumbled into his hand.

Joxer shrugged. "We won't have to worry about the giant, whatever it was. That's that."

"Yes. I think we should talk about something else now. That does not have to do with giants or their sexual orientation." Blair nodded. "How were your classes today, man?"

"I had no class today," Joxer said. "I had two yesterday, though. And they went pretty well."

"Mine did too! What'd you have yesterday?" Blair asked.

"That prophecy class," Joxer said, with a bit of a gulp. "And the cult class."

"Oh yeah, I remember seeing you in prophecy. Isn't it a cool class?" Blair grinned. "Cult class? We have a class on cults?"

"The Intro to Popular Cult Churs," Joxer said. "I'm not sure what a chur is, yet."

"Oh." Blair covered his mouth with his hand so Joxer couldn't see him smile. "I think that might be culture. All one word."

"That makes more sense," Joxer admitted. "I get a little, uhh, confused sometimes."

"Really?" Blair said seriously. "It happens to all of us sometimes, man. Don't let it get you down."
