Third Floor Common Room, Friday Afternoon

WIth no classes today, the twins lounged in the common room. Hikaru was eatting popcorn and watching the Z FIles while Kaoru sat to the side, making what must have sounded like strange barking as he looked over his Cross Species Communications vocabulary packet.

She grimaced. "Yeah, I'm not big on the arm losing. It makes it hard to swim if you only have one." She paused. "But there are nicer pets around here, right?"

"Oh good," she said. "One really evil animal is might be livable, but a whole school of them probably wouldn't be a place I'd want to go to school in."

Pip nodded. "Nah, they're just magical or robotic or whatever. I just got stuck with the normal psychotic one."

Will was almost tempted to try and pet his cat, but thought better of it. "People keep magical and robotic pets here?"

"Huh," she said, thinking that over. "I hope I get to meet more of them here then."
