Fourth Floor Common Room, Sunday Evening

Blair decided that walking all the way from town and all the way up to the fourth floor was enough walking for now. He plopped down on the nearest couch and winced at the jarring to his arm. Readjusting the sling and cast he looked at the tv and waved his free hand.

"Turn on!"

Well, it would have been cool if it had worked.

Peter was still blushing and so grasped on the new topic straw with alacrity. "She's a Yank. From California not quite ten years ago. I think you'll like her."

"Oh that's lovely, you never could have met without fandom. I look forward to meeting her."

"No, we shouldn't have," Peter said, smiling. "I'm just lucky she came here this summer as well."

Lavender yawned discreetly. "It's amazing who we can meet here."

Peter smiled. "It is indeed." He stood up and bowed to Lavender, ignoring the pain in his ribs. "And if you'll excuse me, I think I need to go upstairs. It was lovely meeting you."
