The Salle, Monday, 4th Period.
Sakurazaki wasn't feeling very well after her Spies and Spying class; she knew precisely why, and she knew that working with her sword could possibly only perpetuate the feeling, but she figured it was better than moping around her room. So, Yuunagi in hand, she started working on her forms and minor wind attacks.
She wished Alphonse could be here; she could really stand to knock down some walls. Maybe she should have tracked him down before she came here. Or that Hitsuzen was open. Damn Tuesdays; she knew Yuuko would find something for her to do to keep her mind off things effectively.
Damn spying, damn demons, damn messed-up life. She sliced her nodachi through the air as if cutting them all to pieces.

When he entered, he stopped to watch Sakurazaki for a second before heading to the weapons locker, skirting the edges of the practice area.

"Peter," she greeted him simply, with a still lingering gasp of breahlessness, wiped some sweat off her forehead, and then took another long swig.

"You should know better than that. Having it in your hands is only going to want you to use it more..." That was how she would feel about it, anyway.

He rolled his eyes at himself. "Now that we've established I'm an idiot. How have you been?"

But she didn't want to talk about that. "I am glad you're down here, though. I still have a gift from Japan to present to you."

She figured it worked well; with the influx of new students, Peter probably hadn't noticed anything amiss about the addition of two black sheathed katana sitting at the back of the locker, one with a white string, one with a blue. It was at this time that Sakurazaki reached into the weapons locker and retrieve them. Save for the strings, they looked nearly identical. She gave a quick look at the Japanese characters etched into the bottom of the hilts before presenting Peter with the blue-stringed one.
"This is Daisuke and Daichi. The one with the blue-string, Daichi, is yours. If you're truly interested in learning Eastern style, you need an eastern sword. And I need to get used to a shorter blade if I'm going to teach you to use one."

She paused and allowed a small grin to break through her very reverent facade. "Not that I think I need to worry about that right now, of course."

He stopped quickly though, face tightening slightly at the pain in his chest. "You're probably right about that. He seems heavy even though he's lighter than Rhindon." He smiled, sheathed the sword and looked at her gratefully. "Thank you very, very much. I look forward to learning, Lady."
