Gun Range, early evening Tuesday

Parker's practicing with the 9mm, trying to get the memory of River's abilities out of her head, and waiting on Jack. She put up the notice when she came in.

· BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT’S BEYOND

· NEVER USE ALCOHOL OR DRUGS BEFORE OR WHILE SHOOTING.

· CHECK IN ALL WEAPONS BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE RANGE.

Parker waved to Pippi as she came in, and said, "How are you doing?"

That she also moved two alleys over just means she knows how Pippi shoots.

Pippi is cleaning and assembling the Glock that Pip gave her for her birthday so she won't be shooting like that. Not yet anyway.

"I'm good." she said as the parts clacked into place.

"I'm always good."

"That's... good?" Parker questioned, watching Pippi carefully. "We still on for drum shopping tomorrow?"

That got a genuine smile.

"Oh yes. I'm looking forward to that. Is anybody else from the band going?"

"I haven't asked around, but they're all more than welcome." Parker frowned a moment. "Well, wait. My Miata only holds so many people. But yeah, if a couple more want to come along, that'd be fun."

"Hmmm... I'd think Chad might be right out huh?"

Parker choked. "Um, maybe? Only, if we do find you a kit tomorrow, we might have to tie him to the bumper, and I'm not sure how he'd like that." She grinned. "But if he's the *only* other one who wants to come along, that might work. Especially moving stuff around."

"It might make good pictures for the album cover though..." Pippi smirked.

Parker chortled evilly in response to that, and nodded. "I'm working on the website for you guys this week. I may need to make sure that all photos of Chad are scaled correctly, to people get some idea of what to expect."

Pippi thought about it. "I have no idea what to put him next to for scale..."

"Not Zero. That would only make it worse." Parker cocked her head. "A lamppost? Maybe? Or a small car?"

"Oooo. And the Doctor's is so decorative. Good call."

"The Doctor's is actually kinda big, I was thinking one of those glass ones." she said. "But I do like blue."

"Hmmm, point. Maybe both? Can't hurt. Where do you want your photo taken?" Parker reloaded her gun, and checked the magazine carefully.

Parker grinned. "Of course. I should've known." She readjusted her goggles, and said, "Come find me after Astronomy, and we'll head to D.C. from there, okay?" She studied her again, wanting to ask Pippi if she was okay, but not wanting to remind her if she wasn't.
