The Roof, Friday Afternoon (After Classes)

Cally had made a phone call or two before coming to the roof. She'd brought a couple tin cups with her, and headed straight over to where the Viper had it's first batch of brew on tap.

It was taste testing time.

Just, you know, she wasn't going to be dumb enough to try it first.

"So yeah, not that great," Cally said. "Sorry."

She paused.

"Why were you on the ledge?"

hiding "Uhm...no..particular reason. Just writing a letter. Can you fix it?"

"Nope," Cally said. "Especially not since I made some modifications to the-- a-ha! That's it."

"The tubing is cycling the liquid through the filter the wrong way. It's not filtering at all!" Cally shook her head. "No wonder we almost killed Pete and Joxer."

"Are Joxer and Pete okay?" Billy asked pointedly.
