Grounds, Wednesday Morning

A table set up in a highly visible part of the quad has a mound of all kinds of sugary stuff on it, but it's not bribes. The former Stickbug cabin just happened to feel like handing out candy today.

There's also coffee, because it's a necessity.

A sign attached to the front of the table reads:

"Morning, Tyler," Peter said, snagging a cup of coffee.

"Morning back," Tyler said, putting down his book. "Have some chocolate."

"I'm not sure there's enough here," Peter replied with a grin. "And I saw your modified posters. That was brilliant."

"The smelly guy at All & Sundry kept trying to give me more candy and wouldn't take them back," Tyler shrugged. "But watch out for the turnip-flavored ones."

He grinned sheepishly at the comment about the posters. "Pip will probably be pissed, but it was worth it. Yours is pretty Tiger Beat."

Nadia wandered out to the table to partake of coffee and sugar.

Wheeeee wake up call.

She pondered the sign. "Please tell me you're kidding."

"Kidding how?," Tyler asked, glancing at the sign.

"You're campaigning for all the stinkbugs. You honestly think that cabin solidarity is the sort of thing which will win you an election?"

"I think free candy will win the election," Tyler said mildly. "Getting to hang out with my Stickbug brethren is just the cherry on top."

He kind of hated Nadia right then.

Pip walked by and started pouring himself a cup of coffee. Tyler could try to stop him on the basis of him being an opponent if he tried, but he shouldn't expect to work very well.

Oh yeah? Well at least I can code!

Tyler nodded to Pip. "All's fair in love and elections, right?"

That was karma.

"That depends," Pip said as he stirred in the cream. "Are you going to try and stop me from having some coffee?"

"I'm not cruel enough to come between a man and his coffee," Tyler said, shaking his head.

Peter shook his head at Pip. "So you're going to cast your vote for Tyler too, hmm?"

"Depends," Pip said. "I can't remember whether we cast ballots for three people or for just one."

"I rather think it ought to be three," Peter said. "But I've actually no idea either."

Tyler feigned reluctance. "I think Greg would want us to say yes," he said. "So help yourself."

"Not just Greg," she said with mock indignation as she fixed a cup. "I'm sure Peter would say yes also."

Peter grinned. "Morning, Isabel. I think we could spare you some coffee and chocolate."

"Thank you kind sir," she grinnned. "I need it. Annie thinks waking me up to play at four in the morning is fun."

Actually a lot of Jamies show up.

Singing "We shall overcome" and tossing tootsie rolls out to the crowd.

Tyler eats a tootsie roll and lets Jamie get to it, dodging flying projectiles and trying not to wince about the singing.

Returning from his morning jog, Billy sees the table, and does a doubletake at the sign.

"Uh, stickbugs?"
