Student Council Elections [all day]

Josh dropped the ballot box onto a table he'd covered in bunting and dragged to the middle of a busy hallway near his classroom.

There was coffee, doughnuts, and cheesy "I Voted" stickers for all participants.

Don't cheat. He does this for a living and he'll totally catch you.

[OOC: Open for mingling, eating food and general chatting. Josh'll be in and out--he's also teaching two classes today :)]

Willow was there with cookies and a sign that said "Vote Peter Pevensie!"

"Bribing the electorate," Josh noted with a grin. "Excellent idea."

"I prefer to call it positive reinforcement," Willow replied with a smile. She offered Josh a chocolate chip cookie. "Want one? No strings, promise. In fact, hardly any fiber at all, though much chocolate and sugar."

Nadia cast her vote, grabbed a donut, and stuck an "I Voted" sticker to the middle of her forehead.

"Well, it's not like student governments ever actually do anything," she muttered aloud around a mouthful of donut.

Yeah, she was definitely in a debate-y mood.

"Do too." Pippi said withholding monkey shaped cookies until Nadia agrees with her.

Sakurazaki certainly didn't linger around the hallway, looking for good places that a person might stay and spy on what was being put down on the top portion of the ballot. Not. At. All. Humhumhum....

Parker voted, grinned, and took a coffee. "Hey, Professor Lyman. Long time no see."

"Parker," Josh replied, smiling. "Why aren't you running this year?"

"I did my time in Ulcer Land. Senior stuff plus managing a rock band means something had to go, and I decided StuCo was it. Alanna and Liz know I'll help if they need it, though." She grinned. "Plus, I'm having more fun making posters for other people."

Alanna was hanging out by ballot box after voting, sometimes munching on a donut. Faithful was eyeing the stickers for some reason.

Billy deliberated amongst himself. "Too bad we never got to see a debate or anything." he remarked.

Josh overheard the comment and arched an eyebrow. "If you'd seen politics here last year you'd know why. It's either this way or bloodsport. There's no in between."

JD, dressed in his best blue shirt and his hair almost gleaming with hair gel, cast his vote. He then stuffed an entire donut in his mouth and put an "I voted" sticker on his forhead.

"I AM ELECTION MAN!"

JD struck a very dramatic pose and then decided maybe he should wait around to answer any questions.

Oh yeah. I look pretty.

Greg came by around midday, since he had no classes.

He was wearing a pair of blue shorts.

And a lot of blue paint, except for where he had painted a yellow mask over his eyes.

His hair was spiked to all sorts of frightening angles.

And across his blue chest was written, "VOTE FOR ISABEL AND PETER PARKER!!"

Weiss hung out by the ballot box in his spare time. He wasn't actively campaigning, but he did say "Hey" to everyone he knew. He also was open to talk to people he didn't know [conversation opportunity alert].

"Hey dude," Greg greeted. Yes, he was painted blue. Yes, he had endorsements for Peter Parker and Isabel Evans across his chest. No, he did not act like this was anything unusual.

John quickly voted as he hurried to make his meeting.
