Walter was making pie and watching Wednesday night TV. This criminal forensics show was gruesomely fascinating.

It went well with making pie dough. Eventually the pie dough would become apple pies and shepherd's pies, and because it's a dorm tradition, everyone could have some.

Nadia held her ground and crossed her arms. "No."

"You stay away from Phoebe and stay away from me," Bel warned. "You can keep your unwanted opinions to yourself."

"Like hell. Phoebe's my friend, and I'm not going to let you keep hurting her."

"Shut up," Bel snapped again. "This isn't your concern."

"It is when I'm the one trying to cheer her up!"

"You have no idea what's going on," Bel said. "And if you stick your nose in it, you're not gonna like what happens."

[nadiathesaint]

"I know that you go around kissing other people for 'fun' but when Phoebe tells you it upsets her and asks how you would feel if she did the same thing, you get all angry at her without even figuring out that that's exactly how she feels when you do it. I'm not afraid of you, and I'm not going to leave you alone about it until you face up to the fact that you're hurting the girl that you're dating."

She may have had a point, and he may have realized it, but he refused to back down. "Fuck off," he said in disgust.

"No."

Bel glared and turned his back on her.

"Go. Talk. To. Her."

"She's my girlfriend, of course I'll talk to her," Bel snapped over his shoulder.

"If you really care that much about her, maybe you should start acting like it. Go. Now."

"Don't tell me what to do or how I feel," Bel said.

[nadiathesaint]

"You're acting like an idiot, Bel. Frankly, I don't care how you feel. I care how she does, and right now, she's not feeling very good."

"And I don't care what you think."

[nadiathesaint]

"Then why are you getting so angry with me right now?"

[demonbelthazor]

"Because you're butting in where you aren't invited," Bel growled.

[nadiathesaint]

"I've already explained that. Phoebe is my friend. I care about how she feels, so I'm doing something to work on her feeling better. See how easy that is? Being aware of other people's feelings and trying to help?"

"I've got feelings, too, believe it or not," Bel said. "So once more I say you don't know what the hell you're talking about, you're not invited to participate, so butt the fuck out."

"I never said you didn't. Just that you don't always seem to be aware that other people do. And I'm not butting out. What are you going to do about it?"

"Ignore you," Bel said.

[nadiathesaint]

"So you're not going to talk to Phoebe? You're just going to keep kissing other people if you feel like it, regardless of the fact that it hurts her?"

Bel ignored her and started to walk away.

Nadia started after him. "Tell me you're going to talk to her, and I'll leave you alone."
