Third Floor Common Room, Wednesday evening

Walter was making pie and watching Wednesday night TV. This criminal forensics show was gruesomely fascinating.

It went well with making pie dough. Eventually the pie dough would become apple pies and shepherd's pies, and because it's a dorm tradition, everyone could have some.

"Huh," Carmela says thoughtfully. "Where I'm from, they all just use the term 'wizards'. Which makes sense, when you consider that beings from some planets don't exactly have the same gender distinctions as humans." She smiles. "And no, technology is *far* from a problem with me."

"Aliens works," Carmela says. "It's just that to them, we're the aliens, of course." She adds with a shrug. "To quote an, um- friend-" okay, Roshaun hadn't exactly been a friend, but details- "'Who are you calling a humanoid? *You're* the humanoids!'"
